  • Budva is the most developed and popular beach resort in Montenegro, with a thriving nightlife particularly during the summer season 

  • The old town, a maze of venetian cobblestone streets, has been surrounded by relatively high-rise buildings that stretch from the coastline back to the mountain-side

  • The Budva coastline stretches 21 kilometers and includes 17 different beaches. The town and its surroundings has a large range of accommodation to suit all budgets.

Getting There

Budva is a 30 minute drive from Tivat and Sveti Stefan is 40 minutes to 1 hour from Porto Montenegro. There is a helipad near Sveti Stefan that can be reached from Tivat in 15 minutes.

  • Visit stari Grad (the old town) on the peninsula in Budva Centre, stroll along the narrow alley ways within the medieval fortification system and enjoy the many bars, cafes and restaurants

  • View the magnificent Sveti Stefan island (10 km from Budva), connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, now home to the exclusive Aman Resort

  • Enjoy the two pink sandy beaches nearby, Milocer Beach and Queen’s Beach

  • Visit in July during the yearly Sea Dance beach festival on Jaz beach, featuring a line-up of international artists

  • Watersports activities along the coastline including scuba diving and jet ski
