ITINERARY

Day 1
Leaving Glasgow our first stop is one of the most famous lakes in Scotland, Loch Lomond. A place that has witnessed battles, sagas and clan warfare. Going north the mountains become more dramatic as the loch narrows. We stop at Glencoe to have lunch. Hear the legends and myths of this dramatic glen, and the stories of the famous bloody massacre of the McDonald Clan. We head west to Eilean Donan Castle, the most visited castle in the Highlands. From here a short drive takes us to the unforgettable islands of Skye! On the island, we pass the famous Cuillin Mountains as we travel to your base for the next two nights, the town of Portree.

Day 2
On Skye, you will experience a rugged land of magnificent peaks, fast-flowing rivers, and isolated moors.
We will transport you to the far northern peninsula of Skye at Trotternish, where you will have plenty of time to explore and take several short walks in an area of fantastical landscapes and stunning coastal vistas.
You will see the celebrated Old Man of Storr, the dramatic Trotternish Ridge, Leallt Falls, Kilt Rock, and the Quiaring. After lunch we proceed to the town of Uig and the enchanting Fairy Glen.

Day 3
We set off on Skye's highest road to the beautiful township of Kylerea, one of the best places to see otters, seals, and dolphins at play. We leave the island on a turnaround ferry to Glenelg, followed by an extremely scenic drive through Glen Moriston to the Great Glen.
Our next stop is the bustling centre of Fort William. From here we continue down the west coast of Scotland, with amazing views out to the islands of Argyll.
Our final main stop will be in Oban, the Seafood Capital of Scotland, where panoramic views of the mountains, lochs, and islands have captivated artists and poets for centuries.
