Skadar Lake
About
  • Skadar is the largest lake in the Balkans, with two thirds situated within Montenegro territory and the remaining third in Albania. This vast lake covers between 370 and 550 square km, depending on the time of the year.

  • Skadar Lake was declared a National Park in 1983 and it’s wetlands are home to over 250 bird species including storks , herons, falcons and eagles

  • The lake and it’s surrounding are scattered with old villages, historic churches, scenic waterside restaurants and small islands

Getting There

Skadar Lake is a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Tivat. We can organize car or van transfers and vehicle rental.
