  • EXCURSION 1 – Porto (half-day) Panoramic tour of Porto: we pass by the Casa da Musica, by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, the first building built in Portugal exclusively dedicated to music. The Aliados avenue takes us to visit the ex libris of the city: the typical Bolhão market, the dos Clérigos tower, (exterior) built by Niculau Nasoni between 1731 and 1763 and the Porto cathedral, Romanesque style. Return to the hotel.

  • EXCURSION 2 – Braga * Guimarães (half-day) Departure for the province of Minho. Visit of Braga, historical, economic, university and religious capital of Minho. Surrounded by hills, Braga is often called "The Portuguese Rome". The Roman Empire lived here and the Italian Renaissance left its mark on many of its monuments. Visit of the imposing Church of Bom Jesus de Braga (Rococo style church, known for its double staircase). Continuation to Guimarães, which proudly bears the title of cradle of the nation. This city has preserved an air of old nobility from its prestigious past, with its majestic facades. Discovery of the fortress of the 1st King of Portugal, founded in the 10th century.   • EXCURSION 3 – Aveiro * Coimbra (full day) Visit of Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal, with its canals spanned by small bridges and its salt marshes. Afterwards you will discover the secrets of making "Ovos moles", in a regional pastry shop with tasting.Departure to Coimbra. Lunch by your own. On the banks of the Mondego, Coimbra is known for its University, the oldest in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe, which over time has marked the image of the city as a "city of students". First stop at the Sta. Clara to admire an unforgettable view of Coimbra: the Mondego River and the typical houses. Next, the Almedina Gate and its University with its Tower. Visit to its incomparable Joanina Library with its remarkable decorations (subject to availability). Return to the hotel.

  • EXCURSION 4 – Porto (full day) Visit of Porto, a city situated in a magnificent amphitheatre on the banks of the Douro. Old quarters still intact, maze of winding streets, superb churches, multicoloured houses leaning against the cliff. Passing by one of the most sumptuous and traditional cafés in Porto, more than a café, the Majestic tells the story of the twenties in Porto. Then we walk along the typical Santa Catarina street, a very lively shopping street that will take us to the central station, known for its 20,000 azulejos... Free Lunch At Porto or Vila Nova Gaia. In the afternoon, visit of one of the famous Port Wine Cellars, of course with tasting of this precious nectar. Time to visit a filigree workshop, the art of working with gold and silver.Optional: departure for a short cruise of about 1 hour that will give you a different view of the city.   • EXCURSION 5 – Barcelos * Braga * Povoa do Lanhoso * Guimarães (Full day) Departure for the province of Minho. Visit to Barcelos, the 16th century calvary preserved in the city's archaeology museum illustrates the legend of the rooster of Barcelos, which has become the symbol of Portugal. Continuation to Braga, the historical, economic, university and religious capital of Minho. Visit to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus de Braga (Rococo style church, known for its double staircase). Lunch by your own. Visit to the Oficina do Ouro, in Póvoa de Lanhoso, a company dedicated to working gold and silver in filigrana, a truly Portuguese art. This visit will allow us to get to know the whole manufacturing process, through the observation of all the stages of production. Visit to the city of Guimarães, which proudly bears the title of cradle of the nation. This city has preserved an air of old nobility from its prestigious past, with its majestic facades.   • EXCURSION 6 – Aveiro (Half-day ) Departure to Aveiro, a beautiful city crisscrossed by canals and surrounded by the waters of the ria. With its thousand-year-old origins, Aveiro is rich in history and also has an important port and thousands of salt pans where pyramids of salt are piled up. Afterwards, a ride in the typical "Moliceiros" boats with tasting of "ovos moles", a traditional pastry.Return to the hotel.

  • EXCURSION 7 - Lamego * Régua * Vila Real (Full day) Departure for the visit of Lamego, an ancient village, which dates back to Roman times. Discovery of the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios with its high altar displaying the image of Our Lady, the azulejos on the stairs composed by 686 steps. Lunch by your own. Visit to one of the most famous vineyards of the Douro for the tasting of the Douro wine. More time to visit Régua, which has made Port Wine a universal wine. Continuation to Vila Real, a city framed in a beautiful natural landscape with the Marão and Alvão mountains as a backdrop. Return to the hotel.

  • EXCURSION 8 - Porto (cruise) The Douro Valley invites you to discover its wonders through a magnificent cruise:

  • • Transfer by coach to the quay in Porto/Gaia

  • • 08:00 am: Boarding of the passengers

Visit the Bom Jesus do Monte de Braga, the most extravagant monument in the country with its monumental staircaselined with small chapels and dominated by the church of Bom Jesus, offering a beautiful panorama of the city. Lunch by your own. Visit to the city of Guimarães, which proudly bears the title of cradle of the nation. This city was elected European Capital. European Capital of Culture for 2012. It has managed to preserve an air of old nobility from its prestigious past, with its majestic facades. Its streets and monuments breathe history and enchant visitors. Guided tour of the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança and the castle. Walk through the street of Santa Maria and the historic centre (World Heritage). Return to the hotel.

  • EXCURSION 10 – Regular Gastronomic Tour on City Center – 3H by foot Meet with your tour guide Central Porto (on no Café da C´alma), and depart by foot to do the gastronomic tour. We will walk along the typical Santa Catarina street, a very lively shopping street that will lead us to the central station- São Bento Station, known for its 20.000 tiles. We'll walk up the Aliados Avenue where is the Porto City Council. The typical Miragaia neighbourhood and the cathedral of Porto are two essential stops to taste the wonders of this city. Praça da Ribeira is the ex-libris of our city and an obligatory stop
